We believe that God, from all eternity, by the most wise and holy counsel of His own will, has freely and unchangeably ordained all things that come to pass.
1 JOHN 5:7
We believe in the unity of the Godhead, which consists of three persons, having one substance, power and eternity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the hypostatic union of the God-man, Jesus Christ, which means that He is fully God and fully man; God from all eternity, and the God-man from His incarnation as the last Adam.
We believe that human nature is completely corrupt and sinful as a result of Adam's fall.
We believe that before God created the world, He chose to save some people (the elect) according to His own purposes, and apart from any conditions related to those people.
We believe that Christ died only for the sins of the elect, and that atonement was not made for those who were not predestined to eternal life.
We believe that God's saving grace effectively applies to those whom He has determined to save (the elect) and, in God's time, overcomes their resistance to obey the call of the gospel by bringing them to faith in Christ.
We believe that a regenerated person in whom the Holy Spirit dwells will continue to do good works and believe in God until the end of his life.
EPHESIANS 2:8
We believe that salvation comes by grace through faith when man is regenerated by the Holy Spirit, evidenced by repentance and obedience to the gospel.
2 Peter 3:18
We believe that sanctification is the continuing work of God's free grace, by which we are renewed in the whole man after the image of God, and are enabled to die to sin and live to righteousness.
We believe in water baptism, as an outward act of obedience, signifying the inward work of salvation.
We believe in the commemoration of the Lord's Supper through the symbolic use of bread and the juice of the vine.
We believe in the commandment to go to all nations to preach the gospel and make disciples.
ACTS 1:8
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit for born-again believers, to fill them with power and provide gifts for the advancement of the gospel.
EPHESIANS 4:11
We believe in the five offices given to the church by Christ: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, for the equipping, edification and unity of the body.
1 THESSALONIANS 4:17
We believe in the resurrection of the dead in Christ, followed by their glorification together with those who are alive in Christ in the clouds, at the personal return of the Lord Jesus to the air.
We believe in the personal return of Christ with his saints to reign on earth for a thousand years.
We believe in the final judgment at the end of human history, which marks the beginning of the eternal state of lost man, where all people whose names are not found in the Book of Life will be judged according to their deeds and punished accordingly.
We believe according to the promise of God, in new heavens and a new earth, where the righteous dwell.
