Nueva Canción Internacional (NCI) was founded by Jesse Bystrom. In 2009 he began preaching the gospel in Latin America starting in Mexico, followed by Guatemala, Nicaragua, and recently Colombia. His message is simple, "man is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and must repent of sin to receive eternal life."
Jesse lives in beautiful Northern California. He graduated in 2001 from North Central University with a degree in ministry. During his college years, his life was forever changed when he visited a historic move of God in Pensacola, Florida, known as the "Brownsville Revival," which sparked a passion for soul winning and a relentless hunger for God's presence.
After two decades since Jesse's life-changing encounter with the power of God, he longs for another genuine outpouring of the Holy Spirit. He spends his days walking, praying and searching the scriptures in preparation for what he knows is imminent. He founded NCI to prepare the way for the return of Jesus, who is coming for His Church and to judge the world.
"It’s true that many are praying for a worldwide revival. But it would be more timely, and more scriptural, for prayer to be made to the Lord of the harvest, that He would raise up and thrust forth laborers who would fearlessly and faithfully preach those truths which are calculated to bring about a revival."
